My Les Paul limits some of the aspects of my playing but heightens others. Its hard to play super-fast with its finished neck, but at the same time it can hold a note for so long its crazy. You can just bend the fuckin notes like mad! its great especially when im playing blues licks.  So i mean if you wanna shred go with satriani (unless u get a Zakk Wylde Custom LP) but if you like heavy badass blues and even metal, go with LP! Either way you're makin the right choice!
